Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, on November 27, chaired a meeting with rubber production and trading enterprises in western Quảng Ngãi to review their business performance and financial obligations in 2025.
Reports showed positive results, with budget revenue from the rubber sector reaching VNĐ 116 billion in the first 11 months of 2025, significantly higher than the same period in 2024.
Enterprises also raised concerns about production difficulties, requesting consideration of land rent exemptions or reductions because the workforce is mainly composed of ethnic minorities, and faster completion of legal procedures for reclaimed land.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm instructed the Tax Department and local authorities to guide and verify documents to implement land rent policies in accordance with regulations, and to support enterprises and workers with tax-related administrative procedures.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment was tasked with proposing solutions to land-related issues, while the Department of Finance was assigned to coordinate with relevant units to resolve outstanding matters related to the Youth Volunteer Team before December 15, 2025.
He also requested commune-level authorities to work with enterprises to review rubber and forest areas under land leases and report to the Provincial People’s Committee by December 30, 2025. The Provincial Tax Department was directed to continue removing obstacles for enterprises, ensuring revenue targets, while enterprises were urged to fulfill financial obligations with at least a 10 per cent increase in 2025.
