QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng on Friday (November 28) chaired a meeting with investors, departments and localities to review the implementation of the province’s key projects.
According to the Department of Construction, site clearance for the Hoàng Sa–Dốc Sỏi Road project has so far completed 56 compensation plans covering 76 out of 172ha, equivalent to 44.2 per cent.
Construction on the main route has reached VNĐ 646 billion out of a total VNĐ 2.382 trillion, or 27.1 per cent of the workload value.
For the Dung Quất–Sa Huỳnh Coastal Road Project (Phase IIa, Component 1), around 11.7km of land — 88 per cent of the route — has been handed over, with about 79 per cent of construction completed.
Phase IIb of the same project has cleared 81 per cent of the required land and achieved 72 per cent of construction progress.
The road connecting Thạch Bích Bridge to Tịnh Phong has completed 61 per cent of site clearance and over 51 per cent of construction.
The Trà Khúc River downstream weir project has reached 92 per cent of its contract value.
Meanwhile, construction of the erosion-control embankment and land development on the northern bank of the Trà Khúc River (Tịnh An–Tịnh Long section) is 91 per cent complete, and the Tịnh Long–Tịnh Khê section has surpassed 97 per cent.
Projects preparing for groundbreaking — including Trà Khúc 1 Bridge and Thiên Bút Park — are finalising necessary procedures.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Hoàng urged departments and localities to uphold responsibility and focus on resolving obstacles to accelerate progress in the coming period.
He emphasised the need to completely address existing bottlenecks in 2025 to create momentum for stronger breakthroughs in 2026.
Hoàng noted that most of the province’s key projects are facing difficulties related to site clearance.
He requested investors to work proactively with relevant agencies and localities to identify the causes and propose timely solutions, while developing detailed plans and specific timelines for each project.
Local authorities were asked to enhance communication and mobilise community support during implementation.
Investors must stay closely engaged at construction sites and urge contractors to speed up both construction and disbursement.
For projects scheduled to start at the end of the year, Hoàng instructed investors to ensure all required procedures and conditions are fully completed before groundbreaking.
