On October 20, in Attapư Province, Lào PDR, Y Ngọc, Member of the Standing Committee of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, and Head of the Steering Committee 515, led a delegation to hold talks with the Special Task Committee of Attapư Province on continuing the search, collection, and repatriation of remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts during the 2025–2026 dry season.
Colonel Si Xồm chay Mạ Nô La, Member of the Standing Committee and Chief Political Commander of the Attapư Military Command, welcomed and worked with the delegation.
Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc congratulated Attapư on the success of its 12th Party Congress and affirmed that Quảng Ngãi will continue the close traditional cooperation previously maintained between Kon Tum and Attapư, contributing to the enduring Việt Nam–Laos friendship.
During the 2024–2025 dry season, Team K53 of Quảng Ngãi and the Special Task Committee of Attapư located and collected 12 remains of Vietnamese martyrs.
Both sides agreed to strengthen coordination and signed a memorandum of cooperation for the 2025–2026 dry season.
