Approving the International Summer Volunteer Exchange Program 2023

The program aims to create favorable conditions for Quang Ngai youths and American students to have the opportunity to exchange, learn about each other's cultures through volunteering activities to help the poor, contributing to strengthening the friendship and mutual understanding between American students and Quang Ngai youths.

The program includes two volunteer exchanges in Tinh Khe commune, Quang Ngai city and Binh Thanh commune, Binh Son district. Accordingly, the Putney Student Travel will construct 06 charity houses (each is worth 61 million VND) for poor and disadvantaged families in Binh Thanh and Tinh Khe communes. Besides, American students will teach basic English to local students, organize sports or cultural and artistic exchanges and clean up the marine environment with local people.

The provincial Vietnam Youth Union in collaboration with Putney Student Travel and related agencies will implement the program in July 2023 with a total budget of 396 million VND.
