Rewarding students with outstanding achievements in the National Mathematics Olympiad 2024

At the ceremony, representatives of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the PPC to 3 students who won prizes in the Math Olympiad 2024 and 2 lecturers who guided the team.

The Rector of Pham Van Dong University awarded Certificates of Merit to 2 lecturers who have contributed to the success of the team.

The National Student Mathematics Olympiad 2024 was held in Da Nang with the participation of 95 delegations, nearly 700 students and 200 lecturers from universities, colleges and academies nationwide.

The team of Pham Van Dong University's Math Olympiad had 7 students and won 2 first prizes by Nguyen Le Duy, 1 second prize by Nguyen Gia Vuong, 1 second prize by Nguyen Gia Vuong, and 1 third prize by Nguyen Thi Minh Huyen.

In particular, Nguyen Le Duy won a special prize at the National Student Math Olympiad with the 2 first prizes. Duy is one of 11 candidates who won a special prize in the exam.

To win this award, candidates must be valedictorian in each subject or win first prize in both subjects. Nguyen Le Duy belongs to the second case.
