Quang Ngai province will welcome 250,000 international visitors by 2030

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued the implementation plan for the implementation of Resolution No. 82/NQ-CP dated May 18, 5 of the Government on the main tasks and solutions to accelerate the recovery, acceleration and development of effective and sustainable tourism in the province.
Accordingly, the plan sets a target that by 2025, Quang Ngai will receive 1.36 million visitors, including 160,000 international visitors and 1.2 million domestic visitors. Total revenue from tourism is about 2,780 billion VND (equivalent to 120 million USD).
Striving to 2030, Quang Ngai welcomes 2.55 million visitors; in which, there are 250,000 international visitors, 2.3 million domestic visitors. Total revenue from tourism is about 13,825 billion VND (equivalent to 600 million USD); creating jobs for about 49,500 employees, including about 16,500 direct workers.
In order to achieve the set goals, the Plan also offers solutions to focus on promoting the restructuring of the tourism industry towards professionalism, modernity, quality and sustainability; increase attraction of investment in tourism development; improve the quality of training and retraining of human resources; accelerate the implementation of digital transformation, promote entrepreneurship, innovation in the field of tourism, support tourism businesses.
The provincial Department of Foreign Affairs was assigned to effectively implement the province's external affairs, including the tasks of economic diplomacy associated with tourism development; strengthen the propaganda, promotion and introduction of tourism in the province, attracting investment in the tourism sector through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Vietnamese diplomatic missions abroad, representative agencies of foreign diplomacy in Vietnam, foreign non-governmental organizations, foreign donors.
