Quang Ngai mobilized more than VND 8.5 bln for study promotion fund

In the first 6 months of 2023, the Provincial Study Promotion Association organized and actively propagated the 25th anniversary of the Association's establishment (May 18, 1998 - May 18, 2023).

The study promotion associations at all levels have continued to develop 1,000 more members, bringing the total members to 241,611 people, accounting for 18.9% of the province's population.

The study promotion fund at all levels in Quang Ngai province has mobilized more than VND 8.5 billion; gave hundreds of scholarships to difficult students; rewarded students and teachers who won high prizes in excellent students exams.

So far, the whole province  has 118,099 families registered for the title of Learning Family; 553 villages, residential areas and 112 communes and wards registered for the title of Learning Community; 524 units registered for the title of Learning Unit; 34,247 citizens achieved the title of Learning Citizen.

Promoting the achieved results, in the last 6 months of 2023, the Provincial Study Promotion Association continue to cooperate with the Department of Education and Training to strengthen and improve the quality of community learning centers at commune and ward levels.

At the same time, actively mobilize organizations and individuals to support the study promotion fund, grant scholarships to students who overcome difficulties and study well; implemented scholarships for students…
