The People’s Committee of Quang Ngai province (PPC) has just issued Decision No. 702/QD-UBND on promulgating the Action Programme to implement the Resolution of the 13^th National Party Congress.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just approved the implementation plan and allocation of foreign capital and counterpart funds in 2021 to implement the Greater Mekong Sub-region (GMS) Health Security Project.

As of 6 August, Quang Ngai province has received over VND 45.7 billion to support the province's Covid-19 prevention and control work and 650 tons of goods and necessities to help people in difficulty due to the Covid-19 epidemic, according to Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Bui Duc Tho.

On the morning of 6 August 2021, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Ngai received 50,000 boxes of Vinasoy’s Fami soymilk from Vinasoy to support people and medical staffs and soldiers on duty in isolation facilities and medical checkpoints in the province.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has agreed to receive a foreign aid of supporting children affected by the Covid-19 pandemic in Quang Ngai province in 2021, sponsored by two foreign non-govermental organizations of Zhi-Shan Foundation Taiwan and Children of Vietnam.

Quang Ngai PPC has just issued the plan to implement the UK-Viet Nam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA)  in the province. The Plan aims to focus on supporting agencies and units in the province to thoroughly understand and carry out the necessary tasks to fully and effectively implement the UKVFTA.

On July 27, 2021, the Red Cross Society of Ly Son district, authorized by Mrs. Mai Thi Hanh, wife of the former President Truong Tan Sang, presented 300 sets of life jackets to fishermen of Ly Son island district.

Recently, the Provincial People’s Committee issued the Plan to implement tasks and solutions to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing in Quang Ngai province in 2021.

Due to the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic, in the 2020-2021 school year, it was the second time that Pacific Links Foundation organized a virtual  summer camp (Camp Connect 2021) for nearly 1,000 pupils of the Scholarship to Elevate Education & Develop Skills (SEEDS) in the 8 central provinces and 4 Mekong Delta provinces from 23/7/2020 to 26/7/2020; 19 students of Quang Ngai province registered to participate in this camp.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has issued the list of programs and projects to mobilize the foreign aid (excluding programs and projects of official development assistance ODA) to Quang Ngai province in the period of 2021-2025.
