Recently, the Provincial Red Cross Association in collaboration with sponsors and Quang Ngai Eye Center has organized the free eye surgery program for patients with difficult circumstances in the province.

On July 20, 2023, the delegation of PeaceTrees - an American NGO led by Ms. Pham Thi Hoang Ha, PeaceTrees Vietnam Country Director, worked with the Department of Foreign Affairs of Quang Ngai province (DoFA) to exchange opportunities for cooperation and support activities related to overcoming the consequences of war in Quang Ngai province.

Recently, Quang Ngai provincial Department of Foreign Affairs coordinated with universities and colleges in the province to organize the Homestay Program 2023 for Laotian students studying in the province.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has on 27 June agreed on receiving an International Summer Volunteer Exchange Program 2023 in Quang Ngai province sponsored by Putney Student Travel (USA).

In the first six months of 2023, Quang Ngai province has received 21 programs, projects and non-project aid from foreign Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), including 12 new projects and on-going programs with the total value of 18 billion VND.

From December 13 to 15th, 2022, a delegation led by Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee Vice Chairman Vo Phien paid a courtesy visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Korea  (RoK) to Viet Nam, the RoK Consulate General in Da Nang city, Korean International Cooperation (KOICA) in Hanoi, Korean Trade Promotion Organization (KOTRA) in Hanoi and Da Nang, Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KORCHAM) in Hanoi. The visit was organized on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and RoK. Members of the provincial delegation include leaders of the Department of Industry and Trade, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Department of Health, and the Dung Quat Economic Zone and Provincial Industrial Park Management Board.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has just signed Decision No. 1636/QD-UBND approving the receipt of the project of awarding scholarships to students in Binh Hoa commune, Binh Son district, funded by the Korea - Vietnam Peace Foundation.

The annual “Xuan Que Huong” (Homeland Spring) programme 2023, is a run-up to the Lunar New Year festival for Overseas Vietnamese (OVs), and will take place on January 14, 2023.

On December 2, the Provincial Red Cross Association coordinated with relevant agencies to organize training and guide the implementation of the project "Emergency relief for provinces affected by storms and floods in October 2022 in Vietnam" sponsored by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC).

On November 30, 2022, Quang Ngai College held a Graduation Ceremony for Laotian students, Course II (the academic year of 2018-2022, Bachelor of Pharmacy, Nursing).
