Quảng Ngãi recognises 13 more OCOP products rated three to four stars
QUẢNG NGÃI — Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Đỗ Tâm Hiển has signed Decision No. 1898/QĐ-UBND recognising 13 additional products meeting the three- and four-star OCOP standards in the second evaluation round of 2025.
Accordingly, five products from two producers were rated four stars. These include Đồng Tiến honey-soaked deer velvet, dried deer velvet, deer velvet powder and fresh deer velvet produced by Đồng Tiến Agricultural Cooperative in Ia Tơi Commune, and multi-clove black garlic by Phú Sinh Trading and Services Co. Ltd in Lý Sơn Special Zone.
Eight products from seven producers were awarded three-star status.
They comprise turmeric powder by Bốn Vân Agricultural Production and Trading Cooperative in Đức Phổ Ward; SESAN rice paper with anchovies and processed anchovies by Sê San Cooperative in Ia Tơi Commune; DAKA rice by Đăk Kan Agricultural Services Cooperative in Sa Loong Commune; Ninh Tô pork roll by household business Nguyễn Huy Thuyên in Kon Braih Commune; Đăk Rve coffee by Hoa Nam Agricultural and Services Cooperative in Đăk Rve Commune; Đăk Kôi free-range chicken by Đăk Kôi Integrated Agricultural and Services Cooperative in Đăk Kôi Commune; and Bình Hải shallots by Bình Hải Agricultural Cooperative in Vạn Tường.
All recognised products will be granted OCOP certificates and allowed to use the official OCOP star-rating logo on their packaging in accordance with regulations.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment, the standing agency of the provincial OCOP Programme, was assigned to publicly announce the recognised products, advise on the organisation of certificate-awarding ceremonies, and implement bonus payments for eligible producers.
The department will also guide local authorities and product owners on the proper use and printing of the OCOP logo as prescribed.
