State budget revenue rises 13.5% in first half

QUẢNG NGÃI — State budget revenue in the central province of Quảng Ngãi was estimated at VNĐ19.1 trillion (US$730 million) in the first six months of 2026, up 13.5 per cent year-on-year and fulfilling 56.4 per cent of the annual target.

Domestic revenue was estimated at VNĐ11.87 trillion, an increase of 14.8 per cent from the same period last year and equal to 51.5 per cent of the yearly estimate.

Revenue from import-export activities reached an estimated VNĐ7.23 trillion during the period, up 11.7 per cent year-on-year and accounting for 66.9 per cent of the annual target.

Meanwhile, local budget expenditure in the first half of 2026 was estimated at VNĐ12 trillion, down 14 per cent compared to the same period last year and equivalent to 40.6 per cent of the annual estimate.
