Vice chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng chairs the meeting
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Công Hoàng chaired a meeting on September 11 to review the project’s implementation progress and discuss measures to address outstanding issues.
According to the Department of Construction, the Provincial People’s Committee approved the investor selection results for the project under Decision No. 1069/QĐ-UBND dated April 2, 2026.
On May 15, the Department signed the investment contract with the winning consortium, comprising the Central Region Technical Infrastructure Management and Services Co., Ltd. and Sun Đà Nẵng Real Estate Services Co., Ltd.
The project covers approximately 161.9 hectares in Trương Quang Trọng and Cẩm Thành wards.
At the meeting, relevant agencies and local authorities reported on progress, focusing on compensation, site clearance and resettlement.
Trương Quang Trọng Ward has issued land recovery notices and delivered them to affected land users.
Meanwhile, the provincial Land Fund Development Center is conducting surveys, measurements and inventories in accordance with the implementation plan.
Relevant agencies are also carrying out procedures related to resettlement, environmental impact assessment and preparation of the detailed 1:500 construction plan.
Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Công Hoàng asked the Department of Construction to urgently coordinate with relevant agencies and local authorities to complete a review report and propose solutions to outstanding difficulties for submission to competent authorities.
For site clearance, the provincial Land Fund Development Center was requested to accelerate the inventory process and determine land origins and current land use status, prioritizing State-managed land, agricultural land, infrastructure land and areas where sufficient information is available to prepare and approve compensation plans.
Relevant agencies were also asked to determine specific resettlement needs, locations and available land funds, and develop suitable resettlement areas in line with urban development plans.
The arrangements should ensure synchronized infrastructure and help affected residents stabilize their lives.
The Department of Construction was tasked with maintaining regular coordination on the project and holding monthly meetings to review progress and promptly identify and address difficulties.
Relevant departments and agencies will continue supporting the Land Fund Development Center, local authorities and the investor in completing the necessary procedures, while preparations are also underway for the project’s groundbreaking ceremony.
