QUẢNG NGÃI — The Standing Board of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Party Committee on August 6 held a meeting with officials included in the province's leadership succession planning for higher positions during the 2025–2030 and 2026–2031 terms.
Provincial leaders said the Standing Board has promptly translated the Party Central Committee's regulations and guidance on personnel planning into provincial plans and implementation guidelines, ensuring that leadership succession planning is carried out consistently, transparently and in full compliance with Party principles and procedures.
Regular reviews and updates have helped identify and include more promising young officials, women, ethnic minority officials and professionals with expertise in science and technology, innovation and digital transformation in the province's leadership pipeline.

Addressing the meeting, Party Secretary Hồ Văn Niên welcomed the participants' constructive and responsible recommendations, describing them as valuable contributions to the province's future development.
He assigned the Provincial Party Committee's Organisation Commission to study the proposals and advise the Provincial Party Standing Board on incorporating them into future leadership and personnel development policies.
He stressed that Party committees and personnel agencies at all levels must continue to ensure direct, comprehensive and consistent leadership over cadre affairs while maintaining fairness, transparency and strict compliance with Party regulations and State laws governing personnel work.
He emphasised that preparations for the next rounds of leadership planning should begin well in advance and that officials should be assessed comprehensively, with work performance and practical results serving as the primary criteria.
Addressing officials included in the planning programme, Hồ Văn Niên encouraged them to continuously strengthen their ethics, professional competence, innovative thinking and commitment to public service while setting an example through their conduct and responsibilities.
He expressed confidence that the province's next generation of leaders would continue to grow through practical experience and make meaningful contributions to implementing the Resolution of the First Provincial Party Congress for the 2025–2030 term, thereby supporting Quảng Ngãi's rapid and sustainable development.
