On October 29, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Đỗ Tâm Hiển met with Ba Xa Commune authorities to review socio-economic development and the implementation of national target programs in the first nine months of 2026.

Scene of the meeting

In the first nine months of 2026, Ba Xa commune’s State budget revenue was projected at VNĐ972 million, reaching 195 per cent of the assigned estimate. The commune expects to disburse 100 per cent of its public investment plan by year-end.

Ba Xa currently has 161 poor households (11.32 per cent) and five near-poor households (0.35 per cent). An initial assessment found that the commune met four new-style rural development criteria for the 2026–2030 period.

However, disbursement of national target program funding remained slow. Of more than VNĐ3.8 billion carried forward from 2025, only over VNĐ151 million had been disbursed. Infrastructure remained inadequate, and efforts to attract business investment continued to face difficulties.
