On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025, on January 27, the provincial leader delegation led by Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Bui Thi Quynh Van visited workers working through Tet holidays at the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon Expressway construction site.
The delegation listened to the report on the progress of the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway project by the representative of Deo Ca Group .
So far, more than 3,850 employees and 1,550 equipment have been mobilized to the site to ensure the construction progress.
The total output to date has reached about 7,300 billion VND, equivalent to 55per cent.
The main road embankment item has reached 95 per cent. Stone construction has been completed for 12 km, and 77 out of 77 bridge piers have been completed.
Up to now, tunnel No. 1 and tunnel No. 2 have been completed, and mechanical and electrical and fire prevention items are being installed.
Tunnel No. 3, 3.2 km long, is the largest tunnel item on the route, and the third largest in the country. More than 4.8 km out of 6.2 km of the total length of both tunnels has been dug and reinforced.
During the Lunar New Year 2025, the contractors have deployed and arranged about 100 workers to work on the construction site.
Van highly appreciated the spirit of the team of engineers and workers at the construction site during the New Year holidays.
They have made great efforts in speeding up the progress to soon complete the project and put it into operation, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the locality.
She also requested Deo Ca Group to organize Tet activities for workers and laborers at the construction site.
Secretary of Provincial Party Committee believed that with the utmost efforts of the contractors, engineers and workers, the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon expressway project would be completed on schedule and on target.
