The Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee has issued a plan to organize contests for the design of a provincial logo and the composition of a provincial song, seeking works that reflect the province’s identity, potential and aspirations for development.

Lý Sơn – Quảng Ngãi
The contests aim to select works with high artistic and aesthetic value that capture Quảng Ngãi’s history, culture, people and development vision. They also provide an opportunity for artists, musicians and the public to showcase their creativity and promote pride in the province.
Logo Design Contest
Under the theme “Quảng Ngãi – Identity, Convergence and Development,” the contest is open nationwide to Vietnamese citizens at home and abroad, who may participate individually or in groups.
Entries should highlight the province’s geographical and cultural diversity, revolutionary traditions, ethnic heritage, united and creative people, economic potential and aspirations for green, sustainable development. Designs must be original, distinctive, memorable and suitable for broad application. Each individual or group may submit up to three entries.
Songwriting Contest
The songwriting contest is open nationwide and to Vietnamese communities overseas, welcoming both professional and amateur musicians of all ages and occupations.
Songs should celebrate Quảng Ngãi’s history, culture, revolutionary traditions, natural beauty and people, while conveying solidarity, resilience and aspirations for progress.
The organizers encourage the use of traditional musical elements, including Sa Huỳnh cultural influences, gongs and Bài Chòi folk music. Entries must be original, feature clear Vietnamese lyrics and appealing melodies, and comply with cultural norms. Each individual or group may submit up to three songs.
Submission Deadline and Prizes
Entries will be accepted until January 30, 2027, at the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, 105 Hùng Vương Street, Cẩm Thành Ward, Quảng Ngãi Province. Submissions may be delivered in person or by post.
For the logo contest, the first prize is VNĐ150 million, and the winning design will become the provincial logo. Ten finalists will each receive VNĐ15 million.
For the songwriting contest, prizes include one A prize worth VNĐ80 million, two B prizes worth VNĐ40 million each, four C prizes worth VNĐ20 million each, and 13 consolation prizes worth VNĐ10 million each. Winners will also receive certificates.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will serve as the organizing committee’s standing agency, overseeing implementation, receiving and evaluating entries, and promoting the contests.
