18 billion VND in six months of 2023

In the first six months of 2023, Quang Ngai province has received 21 programs, projects and non-project aid from foreign Non-Government Organizations (NGOs), including 12 new projects and on-going programs with the total value of 18 billion VND.
These NGOs’ programs and projects mainly focus on support for people with disabilities, disaster relief, poverty reduction, healthcare, education and socio-economic development and donating scholarships to poor students and Agent Orange victims.
Some typical projects include the school milk for kindergartens donated by Children of Vietnam; supporting scholarships for poor and livelihood condition for the disadvantaged by Madison Quakers, Inc; providing RO system for mountainous schools by Children Action; the biodiversity conservation project in Quang Ngai by Fauna & Flora International, etc.
As planned, Quang Ngai province expects to receive over 50 billion VND funded by foreign donors in 2023 to deploy humanitarian projects/programs in the province.
