On September 25, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Đức Tâm, Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee Y Ngọc and leaders of provincial departments and agencies inspected the implementation of boarding schools in the border communes of Ia Tơi, Ia Đal, Mô Rai and Rờ Kơi.

According to the West Quảng Ngãi Project Management Board, the boarding schools in Mô Rai and Rờ Kơi have completed main facilities and were inaugurated and put into operation at the beginning of the 2026–2027 academic year. The Project Management Board is completing auxiliary works and accelerating disbursement, targeting 100 per cent disbursement in 2026.
For the inter-level primary and secondary boarding schools in Ia Tơi and Ia Đal, the projects have total investment capital of more than VNĐ156.3 billion and VNĐ231.4 billion respectively. Design work and site clearance are underway.

After inspecting the projects, Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm asked the investor to review and adjust the functions of the facilities as appropriate, with particular attention to electrical systems in dormitories and classrooms to ensure students’ absolute safety. He also requested the reasonable installation of lighting and wall-mounted fans and the study of rooftop solar power systems to support electricity supply at the schools.
The Project Management Board was asked to assign deputy directors to directly monitor and expedite construction progress at each school site, promptly address difficulties and ensure completion according to schedule.

Alongside accelerating construction, project quality must be given top priority. Contractors must strictly comply with approved designs, technical instructions, current standards and signed contracts; closely control materials and equipment, and fully carry out testing and acceptance procedures. Labor safety, electrical safety, fire prevention and environmental protection must also be strictly ensured throughout the construction process.
On the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Chairman Nguyễn Đức Tâm visited and presented gifts to students at schools in Ia Tơi, Ia Đal, Mô Rai and Rờ Kơi.
