Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trần Phước Hiền works with the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the People's Committee of Nghĩa Lộ Ward.

Vice Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee, Trần Phước Hiền, has called on Nghĩa Lộ Ward to accelerate the implementation of its socio-economic development tasks, improve public investment efficiency and resolve long-standing problems affecting local residents.

At a working session on October 28 with the ward’s Party Committee and People’s Committee, Hiền acknowledged the results achieved over the first 10 months of 2026 and urged local authorities to review outstanding targets and identify practical solutions to complete the year’s plan.

During the period, the ward’s total economic output was estimated at more than VNĐ9.7 trillion (about US$388 million), equivalent to 92.08 per cent of its annual target.

State budget revenue collected in the area exceeded 85 per cent of the assigned estimate, while local budget revenue reached more than 140 per cent of the target. Public investment disbursement exceeded 90.2 per cent of the allocated plan.

The ward also stepped up administrative reform and digital transformation. Its public administration service centre received more than 8,400 applications, with 98.05 per cent processed ahead of or within the prescribed deadlines.

Urban management, infrastructure development and site clearance for investment projects remained among the local authorities’ key priorities.

Social welfare policies continued to be implemented, while national defence, security and public order were maintained.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trần Phước Hiền delivers the concluding remarks.

Concluding the meeting, Hiền asked the ward to comprehensively review its 2026 targets, assess unfinished tasks and focus resources on measures that would deliver tangible results in the final months of the year.

He stressed the need to improve public investment efficiency by carefully reviewing project lists and prioritising essential works to prevent scattered investment and waste of public resources.

The ward was also instructed to work closely with provincial departments and agencies to address long-standing petitions from voters.

Issues falling within its authority must be resolved promptly, while matters beyond its jurisdiction should be reported to higher-level authorities for consideration and resolution.

Relevant provincial departments and agencies were tasked with coordinating with Nghĩa Lộ Ward to resolve outstanding difficulties and facilitate the implementation of its assigned development objectives.
