PPC’s Vice Chairman, Tran Phuoc Hien, urges Ly Son Island district to become a sea and island tourism center

Meeting with Ly Son Island district, PPC’s Vice Chairman, Tran Phuoc Hien asked Ly Son to focus on the Resolution 26-NQ/TW to develop the district into a sea and island tourism center.

Vice Chairman of Quang Ngai Provincial People’s Committee, Tran Phuoc Hien, on February 12 met with Ly Son district officials to discuss the 2025 socio-economic development plan and tasks.

It is reported that in 2025, the district plans to achieve socio-economic development goals, synchronously and effectively implement national programs, boost tourism, develop tourism products and enhance the image of Ly Son tourism. 

In addition, the district will work on construction zoning planning, develop the urban area, and improve urban architecture management. 

At the same time, Ly Son district will focus investment on  key projects, increase budget revenues, promote offshore fishing, and support aquaculture development.

Hien praised Ly Son district's recent achievements and urged them to continue promoting unity and determination in achieving goals set forth for 2025.

He emphasized the importance of completing organizational restructuring, improving the quality of civil servants, accelerating public investment, and implementing construction and administrative reforms.

Additionally, he highlighted the need to focus on preventing illegal fishing activities.

Hien instructed the district to improve land, natural resources, and waste management, and water conservation to make Ly Son district greener and more attractive for tourism.

They must focus on implementing the Resolution 26-NQ/TW to develop the district into a sea and island tourism center. This requires the district to develop a long-term strategy and collaboratie with the central and provincial governments in implementation of the assigned tasks.
