In his concluding remarks, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized the high demand for social housing nationwide.

He instructed the Ministry of Construction to oversee a review of existing regulations, procedures, and processes to identify inadequacies and propose solutions that would facilitate the prompt implementation of social housing projects.

The Prime Minister also urged the Ministry of Finance to urgently study and propose the establishment of a national fund for social housing.

He encouraged commercial banks and the Bank for Social Policies to expand preferential credit packages to assist individuals and households in borrowing funds to buy or rent social housing.

Additionally, he assigned the Government Office to work with relevant ministries and agencies to review and reduce at least 30 per cent of related administrative procedures, making it easier for people and businesses to engage in social housing initiatives.

They are also tasked with compiling and presenting the difficulties and recommendations raised by delegates to the appropriate authorities for timely consideration and resolution.

Moreover, it is essential to enhance promotional efforts, replicate successful models and effective strategies, and share best practices to inspire and drive the development of social housing across the nation.
