The Vice Chairman of the Provincial Peoples Committee chaired a meeting to discuss the Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon component project, a part of the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project.
The project covers a route length of 60.3 km in Quang Ngai province.
The entire political system of the province is committed to site clearance and material availability with contractors working to expedite project completion by 2025.
The Project Management Board 2 provided updates on the progress, construction plans, site clearance issues, noise mitigation near residential areas, cracks in houses, and plans for rest stops.
They recommended that the Provincial Peoples Committee instruct relevant departments for effective implementation.

Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Hien urged all relevant departments, sectors, and localities to focus on developing plans and solutions to complete compensation and site handover within the specified timeframe.
The Department of Agriculture and Environment is tasked with reviewing and agreeing on the location of material storage areas in coordination with localities and Project Management Board 2, in accordance with regulations.
Regarding the cracks in houses caused by project construction, the Vice Chairman requested that Project Management Board 2 collaborate with construction contractors and local authorities to resolve each specific case.
For the restoration of residential roads affected by the project, Project Management Board 2 is required to provide solutions for repair, maintenance, and preservation during the construction process to ensure the safety of all road users.
Immediate restoration of roads that are no longer used as public roads for construction packages must be carried out, with the Department of Construction responsible for monitoring and reporting the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee.
