The Dung Quat Petroleum Mechanical Service Area Project inaugurated

The Dung Quat Petroleum Mechanical Service Area Project has just been inaugurated with a modern scale and synchronous infrastructure. The Project will be a center providing support services for offshore oil and gas projects, oil refineries, as well as future renewable energy projects.

Dung Quat Petroleum Mechanical Service Area Project is located in the Eastern Industrial Park of Dung Quat Economic Zone, in Binh Thuan Commune (Binh Son district).

The project has a total investment of nearly 300 billion VND, including construction costs of about 150 billion VND and site clearance compensation costs of nearly 100 billion VND. The operation period is 50 years.

The total land area of the Project is about 13.4 hectares, divided into two phases. Phase I (3.1 hectares) will be completed in 2025, and phase II (10.3 hectares) will be completed in 2027.

Currently, the Project’s site clearance work (phase I) has been completed. The Management Board of Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks and Binh Son district are supporting investors in promptly resolving arised issues to ensure convenience for contractors to speed up the construction progress.
