The People's Committee of Ba To district, Quang Ngai province has just announced the completion of the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

This is the first locality in Quang Ngai province to complete the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
On November 28, 2024, the People's Committee of Ba To district, Quang Ngai province launched a program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses with the goal of completing the program in March 2025, aiming to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Ba To Uprising and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai province.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, 19 communes and towns of Ba To district simultaneously started building houses, striving to finish in March 2025.
After 3 months of launching the program, Ba To district has supported 553 households to newly build and repair houses, ensuring quality, safety and on schedule.
The households have moved into new houses and stabilized their lives.
Quang Ngai province sets target of eliminating nearly 9,800 temporary and dilapidated houses by 2025. In order to soon complete the target, the Quang Ngai Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of districts, town and city to urgently review and speed up the construction and repair of houses under the Temporary and Dilapidated House Elimination Program.
