The Draft Decision supplements detailed regulations on compensation, support and resettlement when the state recovers land

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang on Feb. 12 chaired the meeting to discuss changes to regulations on compensation, support, and resettlement for land recovery in Quang Ngai province.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment presented a report on amendments to these regulations, based on a previous decision of the Provincial People's Committee.

Chairman Giang highlighted the importance of amending Decision No. 32/2024/QD-UBND to enhance compensation, support, and resettlement policies when the State reclaims the land.

He urged the drafting agency to incorporate delegate feedback, collaborate with relevant bodies to finalize the draft, submit it to the Provincial People's Committee promptly.
