On February 10, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phuoc Hien visited Pho An village to oversee measures being taken to address a 40m long landslide near the southern end of the coastal embankment.
Despite efforts to prevent landslides, the situation continues due to strong winds and waves in the area.
Vice Chairman Tran Phuoc Hien inspected dangerous landslide areas and instructed the City People’s Committee to immediately put up warning signs and take preventive measures.
In the long term, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development was tasked with proposing comprehensive measures to prevent and control landslides in order to ensure the safety of residents.
