Quảng Ngãi, May 29 - As part of the 60th anniversary of the Ba Gia Victory (May 31, 1965 – May 31, 2025), a provincial delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee, Trần Phước Hiền, visited and presented gifts to veterans who contributed to the historic Ba Gia Victory.
The delegation visited and gave gifts to Trương Thị Lai (born 1944) in Binh Hiep commune, and Nguyễn Ngọc Hạnh (1944), Ngô Thanh Bình (1944), Nguyễn Tấn Minh (1946), and Trần Hồng Phương (1947), in Châu Ổ town, Bình Sơn district.
Hiền warmly inquired about the veterans’ health and expressed deep gratitude for their great contributions to the nation’s struggle for independence and the Ba Gia Victory.
He said it was a great honor to meet and hear firsthand accounts of the veterans’ bravery and resilience during the war.
Their heroic stories remain a source of pride and inspiration for current and future generations to work harder for the development of Quảng Ngãi.
On behalf of the provincial leadership, Hiền wished the veterans good health and respectfully invited them and their families to attend the 60th Anniversary Ceremony of the Ba Gia Victory, which will be held on the morning of May 31, 2025, at the Ba Gia Victory Monument in Sơn Tịnh district.
