Chairman Giang highly appreciated the Korean enterprises for exploring investment opportunities in Quảng Ngãi
Quảng Ngãi, May 27 - Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, hosted a working session with a delegation of Korean businesses visiting the province.
They exchanged expertise in high-tech, innovation, and eco-industrial development.
The group also toured several domestic and foreign-invested enterprises located in the Dung Quất Economic Zone and other industrial parks.
The Korean businesses expressed their interest in developing investment proposals in Quảng Ngãi and hoped for continued support and favorable conditions from provincial authorities and relevant departments.
Chairman Giang highly appreciated the Korean enterprises for exploring investment opportunities in Quảng Ngãi.
He shared an overview of the province’s socio-economic development in 2024, highlighting that Quảng Ngãi currently ranks 24th nationwide in economic scale and 4th in the North Central and Central Coastal region.
The industrial, trade, and service sectors account for over 80 per cent of the province's economic structure.

He emphasized the advantages of the Dung Quất Economic Zone, including a deep-water seaport and major industrial projects such as Dung Quất Refinery, Hòa Phát Dung Quất Steel Complex, Doosan Vina, and VSIP Quảng Ngãi.
The zone's high rate of advanced technology adoption makes it a suitable location for Korean enterprises to invest in a high-tech park, aligning with the province’s green growth strategy and the Politburo’s Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW (dated December 22, 2024) on science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation breakthroughs.
Chairman Giang assigned the Authority’s leaders, along with relevant departments, to actively support and accompany Korean investors in the next steps of their investment plans.
