On May 18, at Diên Hồng Hall (National Assembly Building), the Politburo and the Secretariat held a national online conference to disseminate the Politburo’s resolutions on legal reform (Resolution 66-NQ/TW) and private sector development (Resolution 68-NQ/TW), aiming to contribute to fast and sustainable national development in the new era.
Attending the conference were General Secretary Tô Lâm, leaders of the Party and State, Central Committees, ministries, and localities.

At the bridge point of Quảng Ngãi PPC’s Party Committee, there were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Võ Phiên, Deputy Secretary of the PPC’s Party Committee Tôn Long Hiếu, Secretaries of affiliated grassroots party organizations, party members of the PPC’s Office Party Committee, party members, civil servants, and employees of the PPC’s Party Committee Office.

At the conference, Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính delivered a presentation on the core contents of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, dated May 4, 2025, regarding the development of the private sector, and an action plan to implement this resolution.
The Resolution’s highlight is to set a target of reaching 2 million enterprises operating, and strive to have at least 20 large enterprises participating in global value chains. The Resolution expects the average growth rate of the private economy to reach about 10-12 per cent per year, higher than the general growth rate of the economy and contributing about 60 per cent to GDP.
Resolution No. 68 sets the goal that by 2030, the private economy will become one of the most important driving forces of the national economy.
Meanwhile, National Assembly Chairman Trần Thanh Mẫn presented the main contents of Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW, dated April 30, 2025, on reforming law-making and enforcement activities to meet national development requirements in the new era, along with its implementation plan.
Resolution No. 66 sets the goal that by 2030, Việt Nam will have a democratic, fair, synchronous, unified, public, and transparent legal system, contributing to making Việt Nam a developing country with modern industry and high average income.
