On the morning of April 18, the provincial National Assembly delegation met with voters and the armed forces of Quang Ngai province.
At the conference, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters and armed forces about the expected program of the ninth Session of the 15th National Assembly.
The ninth Session is expected to open on May 5 and close on June 28, with two phases.
This is a session with many important contents related to socio-economic development, national defense - security, and building the country's political system.
At the session, the National Assembly will consider and decide on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution, consider and pass 30 laws, seven legal resolutions, and a number of other draft laws and resolutions to serve the organization and apparatus arrangement of the political system.
The Session will also give opinions on six draft laws, review and decide on socio-economic issues, state budget, supervision, and other important issues.
The Quang Ngai Provincial National Assembly Delegation also informed voters about its operation from the eighth Session to the ninth Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Voters of the provincial armed forces recommended some issues relating to policies on housing support, land, and salaries for cadres and officers.

The provincial armed forces also recommended that the National Assembly soon supplement and adjust the Law on Military Service in 2025, the Law on Reserve Forces in 2019 to suit the two-tier local government model, and pay attention to officers and military personnel affected by the reorganization and restructuring of administrative units.
Additionally, they recommended that the Social Security unit guide retirement age regulations for the armed forces.
The provincial Police proposed that the National Assembly soon promulgate the Law on Personal Data Protection.

Speaking at the Conference, Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quang Phuong, member of the Party Central Committee and Vice Chairman of the National Assembly, acknowledged and clarified some opinions and recommendations of voters.
For issues that voters have proposed under the authority of the Central Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation will forward them to the National Assembly, the Government, and relevant agencies for consideration and resolution.
