She acknowledged the commune’s proactive efforts and noted that schools had largely stabilized operations, with staffing arrangements and the new academic year’s activities implemented on schedule.
Y Ngọc urged the commune to strengthen oversight of schools, address concerns raised by managers, teachers and staff, review employment policies and assess whether further adjustments are needed at schools with large student numbers.
She also called for greater attention to students’ moral development and life skills, timely prevention and handling of school violence, and traffic safety education.

Standing Vice Chairwoman Y Ngọc speaks at the meeting
The commune was asked to coordinate with relevant departments to improve management of larger schools, upgrade facilities and teaching equipment, and ensure that schools meet national school standards in the 2026–2027 school year.
Relevant departments were assigned to provide guidance and respond to the commune’s proposals within their respective responsibilities.
Before restructuring, Bình Sơn had 25 schools, 44 campuses, 407 classes and 14,336 students. Following the reorganization, the number of schools was reduced to six (two preschools, two primary schools and two secondary schools), a reduction of 76 per cent. Staffing arrangements have been implemented, and schools have largely stabilized teaching and learning for the 2026 - 2027 academic year.
