On January 6, State Audit Office Region III held a working session with the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee to deploy a survey and prepare the audit plan for 2026. The meeting was chaired by Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, with the participation of leaders of relevant departments, agencies and localities.

At the meeting, State Audit Office Region III announced the decision to establish a survey team in Quảng Ngãi Province, comprising 12 members and led by Trần Doãn Phúc, Deputy Auditor General of the region.
The survey team is tasked with collecting information and preparing the audit plan for the local budget and the final accounts of the 2025 local budget of Quảng Ngãi Province, as well as conducting a thematic audit on tax inspection and examination, tax exemption, reduction and extension, and value-added tax refunds during the period 2023–2025 at the Quảng Ngãi Provincial Tax Department.

According to Trần Doãn Phúc, the survey and audit planning for 2026 is an annual activity conducted in accordance with regulations. He requested provincial agencies and units to closely coordinate and facilitate the survey team in fulfilling its tasks.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Nguyễn Ngọc Sâm requested relevant departments, agencies and localities to closely cooperate with the survey team, promptly and fully provide required information, records and documents, and create favorable conditions to ensure the successful completion of the assigned tasks.
