Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, Head of the Steering Committee for the 16th National Assembly and People’s Council Elections (2026–2031 term), chaired the committee’s first meeting on September 16.
The meeting reviewed the draft plan for organizing the elections, outlining timelines, and assigning specific responsibilities for each agency in compliance with the Law on Elections and guidelines of the Party and the Government.
The elections will take place on March 15, 2026. This is an important political event following the 14th National Party Congress and the 1st Provincial Party Congress.
Participants at the meeting discussed measures to ensure the feasibility and consistency of the plan, emphasizing coordination among agencies and effective communication to raise public awareness.
Concluding the meeting, Secretary Vân urged relevant agencies to strictly and effectively implement assigned tasks, finalize the overall plan, and ensure the elections are conducted in a unified and timely manner across the province.
