Opening of the 1st Party Congress of Quảng Ngãi Province, 2025

On the morning of September 11, at the Provincial Conference and Exhibition Center, the 1st Party Congress of Quảng Ngãi Province, 2025–2030 term, officially opened.

The Congress was attended by Politburo Member and Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Hoà Bình; representatives of central ministries and agencies; Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People’s Armed Forces, and Labor Heroes.

Present on behalf of Quảng Ngãi Province were Member of the Party Central Committee and Provincial Party Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân; Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial NA Delegation, and Chairman of the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee U Huấn; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council Nguyễn Đức Tuy; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Đinh Thị Hồng Minh; former provincial leaders; along with 450 official delegates representing more than 91,700 Party members.

In her opening speech, Secretary Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân emphasized that the Congress is a significant political milestone, reflecting the strong aspirations of the Party and people of Quảng Ngãi. It reviews achievements and shortcomings of the past term, defines development orientations, and sets goals and solutions for the 2025–2030 period, with the vision that by 2030, Quảng Ngãi will become a fairly developed province, in step with the nation’s path of growth and renewal.
