On August 7, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Hồ Văn Niên received Han Jungil, the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Đà Nẵng, who paid a courtesy visit to mark the beginning of his tenure.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Hồ Văn Niên congratulated Han Jungil on his appointment and expressed confidence that the new Consul General would serve as an important bridge to further strengthen friendly cooperation between Việt Nam and the Republic of Korea, as well as between Quảng Ngãi and Korean partners.
Appreciating the positive contributions of Korean investors to the province’s socio-economic development, Hồ Văn Niên affirmed that Quảng Ngãi considers the Republic of Korea a leading strategic partner and is committed to providing businesses with an open, transparent and secure investment environment.
Briefing the Consul General on Quảng Ngãi’s potential and strategic transport connectivity, Niên said the province will mobilize resources and prioritize investment in key projects in industry, logistics, seaports, renewable energy and green agriculture during the 2026–2030 period.
Hồ Văn Niên called on the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Đà Nẵng to help connect Korean corporations and businesses with Quảng Ngãi and facilitate their exploration of investment opportunities in Quảng Ngãi. He also called for expanded cooperation in education and training, labor supply and cultural exchanges.

He affirmed his commitment to closely coordinating with Quảng Ngãi to deepen exchanges and cooperation, contributing to further strengthening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Việt Nam and the Republic of Korea.
