QUẢNG NGÃI — On October 20, a ceremony was held at the Ngọc Linh Hall in Kon Tum Ward to present the First-Class Labor Order to A Pớt, former Standing Deputy Secretary of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee. The event was chaired by Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee.
At the ceremony, a representative of the Department of Home Affairs announced the State President’s Decision No. 46/QD-CTN dated January 8, 2025, conferring the First-Class Labor Order on A Pớt for his outstanding achievements in public service, contributing to the cause of socialist construction and national defense.
A Pớt, an ethnic Ka Dong, was born in 1963 in Sa Loong Commune, Quảng Ngãi Province.
From 2018 to May 2021, he served as Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Kon Tum delegation of the National Assembly.
From June 2021 until his retirement, he held the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee.
Throughout his career, A Pớt has been recognized with numerous honors, including the Second-Class Labor Order in 2018 and several commendations from the State and the Party, acknowledging his significant contributions to the development of Kon Tum Province and the nation.
