Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee discusses key policy issues

On October 6, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang chaired a meeting to review key provincial tasks, including the completion of the Land Database; measures against illegal, unreported, and unregulated (IUU) fishing; adjustments to the “Water Storage and Efficient Irrigation System for Lý Sơn Island” project; and the delineation of small-scale mineral areas in western Quảng Ngãi.

Vice Chairmen Trần Phước Hiền, Nguyễn Công Hoàng, Đỗ Tâm Hiển and leaders of departments and localities attended the meeting.

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, 43 out of 96 commune-level units have completed land databases, with over 1.48 million land parcels integrated and standardized to ensure consistency with the national land system. More than 647,000 records have been verified and cleaned, ready for official use to simplify administrative procedures.

Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang emphasized that building a complete and accurate land database is a top priority, urging all sectors and localities to coordinate closely and finish the task on schedule.
