Quảng Ngãi reviews land-wasting projects, urges timely use of land resources

Quảng Ngãi, May 19 - Vice Chairman of the Quảng Ngãi Provincial People’s Committee, Trần Phước Hiền, chaired a meeting to review and give direction on projects causing land waste or delaying land use.

At the meeting, the Department of Agriculture and Environment (DoAE) presented its findings on underutilized land projects and proposed solutions for different project groups.

Vice Chairman Hiền emphasized the province's commitment to supporting responsible investors who are determined to put projects into operation promptly, contributing to local socio-economic development.

This support will be further reinforced through the implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW (dated May 4, 2025) on private sector development.

Acknowledging the complexity of handling delayed or inefficient land-use projects, he stressed the need for strict, lawful resolution.

Relevant departments were instructed to urgently review and propose legal solutions for each project.

The Vice Chairman also underlined the importance of transparency during the process to ensure investors’ accountability and cooperation.
