The Provincial People's Committee has issued Plan No. 32/KH-UBND regarding organizing activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ba To Uprising Day (March 11, 1945 - 2025) and the 50th anniversary of Quang Ngai Liberation Day (March 24, 1975 - 2025).
The activities aims to propagate, educate and review the revolutionary tradition of the Party Committee, the army and people of Quang Ngai province in the struggle against colonialists and imperialists for national independence and national reunification.
The anniversaries aim to commemorate the glorious feats of the Party Committee, the army and people of Quang Ngai province, arousing love for the homeland, country, national pride for present and future generations.
At the same time, they will acknowledge and praise the great achievements that the Party Committee and people of Quang Ngai province have achieved after 80 years of the Ba To Uprising and 50 years of the province's liberation.
The activities will be held from March 1, 2025 to March 30, 2025.
The Anniversary Ceremony is scheduled to be held on March 15, 2025.
Other activities include:
- A Scientific workshop on "Ba To Uprising - Historical values and lessons learned"
- The Groundbreaking ceremony of projects: VSIP II Quang Ngai Industrial Park, Hoa Phat Dung Quat II railway and special steel production project
- Press conferences to provide information on major events of the province in 2025
- Organizing a Writing Contest about the Ba To Uprising
- Organizing delegations to pay tribute to members of the Ba To Guerrilla Team
- Giving gifts to families of martyrs and wounded soldiers in the province
- Completing the project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in Ba To district
- Cultural and sports activities
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to coordinate with departments, sectors, and People's Committees of districts, town and city to prepare necessary conditions for the Anniversaries.
