At the meeting, the Department of Justice reported the results of the review and proposed a plan for handling legal documents.
Currently, 250 documents need to be processed, including 111 Resolutions of the Provincial People's Council and 139 Decisions of the Provincial People's Committee.
Departments and sectors proposed plans to handle documents that are no longer suitable.
They also proposed amendments, supplements, new promulgation, or abolition to ensure a synchronous and uniform system of legal documents for the new administrative apparatus.

Concluding the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trần Hoàng Tuấn emphasized that the review and synchronization of mechanisms and policies between the two provinces of Quảng Ngãi and Kon Tum is an urgent requirement, ensuring the smoothness and efficiency in the process of merger and operation of two-tier local governments.

Tuấn asked departments and sectors to improve their sense of responsibility, closely coordinate with relevant units of Kon Tum province to review and assess the impact of current policies.
It is necessary to urgently handle documents related to regimes and policies for cadres, civil servants, people, and enterprises, ensuring no interruption in operation.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Justice to chair and synthesize the list of documents that need to be abolished, amended, and supplemented, and report to the Provincial People's Committee by June 26, 2025.
