On June 27, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyễn Cao Phúc, chaired the 36th meeting of the 13th Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, to decide on several important issues.

The Provincial People's Council discussed and agreed to approve 12 draft Resolutions and abolish four Resolutions at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council, Bùi Thị Quỳnh Vân, emphasized that the contents approved at the meeting are of great significance since they will form the legal basis for the Provincial People's Committee and relevant agencies to implement, contributing to removing difficulties, problems and create favorable conditions in the administration of the province's socio-economic development.
She proposed that the PPC and the Chairman of the PPC direct relevant agencies and units to concretize the Resolutions with specific programs, plans, and decisions.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee noted that Quảng Ngãi and Kon Tum will be officially merged into the new Quảng Ngãi province from July 1, 2025. Vân asked sectors and localities to focus on reviewing and perfecting the system of legal documents and resolutions of the People's Council and abolishing documents that are no longer appropriate.
They need toimplement the arrangement of the apparatus, strengthen the capacity of the one-stop department and the commune-level public administrative service center to ensure the quality of service, she added.
