On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on June 19, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, led a delegation of Quảng Ngãi province to visit and congratulate press agencies in Đà Nẵng City.
The delegation visited and offered flowers to the Vietnam Television Center in the Central Highlands - Central Region (VTV8), the Central Region Resident Office - Voice of Vietnam (VOV), the Vietnam News Agency Information Center in the Central Highlands - Central Region and the Nhân Dân Newspaper Standing Office in Đà Nẵng.
At the visited units, leaders of the press agencies provided general information about the operational situation, propaganda work, and key tasks in the near future, especially activities towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
On behalf of the province’s leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang sent his best wishes to the team of reporters, editors, and journalists of the press agencies.
He acknowledged and highly appreciated the positive and responsible contributions of the press agencies to the socio-economic development of Quảng Ngãi in recent times, especially in the work of informing and propagating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, promoting the image of the homeland and people of Quảng Ngãi province.
Chairman Nguyễn Hoàng Giang hoped that press agencies would continue to accompany the locality in the cause of socio-economic development, especially in the coming period when Quảng Ngãi merges with Kon Tum province.
He also said that the locality will create the best conditions for press agencies to work and access official information sources.
Representatives of press agencies in Đà Nẵng expressed their deep gratitude for the attention and encouragement of the leaders of Quảng Ngãi province and affirmed to improve their expertise, political qualities and professional ethics, and continue to accompany the province in the development journey.
