On March 20, Nguyen Hoang Giang, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, conducted an inspection of the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh Coastal Road project (Phase IIb) and the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road project.
During the on-site inspections, Chairman Giang acknowledged and praised the effective collaboration between investors, construction units, local authorities, and other related parties in clearing the site and advancing the construction of these projects.
He emphasized the significance of both the Dung Quat - Sa Huynh Coastal Road and the Hoang Sa - Doc Soi road as essential transportation routes that will facilitate and promote strong development in Quang Ngai province.
To maximize the benefits of these projects, the Chairman urged local authorities along the project routes to enhance their communication efforts, ensuring that residents understand the importance of the initiatives and support them.
Chairman Giang instructed the People's Committees of Binh Son District and Quang Ngai City, the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, and the investors to collaborate and expedite the progress of compensation and site clearance efforts.
They were tasked with overcoming obstacles and encouraging residents to promptly relinquish the remaining land needed for construction.
They must also complete the assessments of specific land prices for the remaining residential and agricultural areas, making urgent adjustments to ensure fair compensation for agricultural land.
The Provincial Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board was directed to instruct construction units to take advantage of favorable weather conditions and allocate resources effectively to accelerate construction progress, ensuring that projects are completed within the agreed timeline.
Chairman Giang called on the project investors and related agencies to uphold a strong sense of responsibility to hasten project advancement.
They are to provide bi-weekly progress reports to the Provincial People's Committee, enable timely resolutions to difficulties and obstacles, and ensure the projects are completed on schedule.
