With a high sense of responsibility, at the 5th Meeting of the 13th Provincial People’s Council, the delegates discussed and voted to adopt 12 important resolutions related to the province’s socio-economic development tasks and the assurance of national defense and security.
The Provincial People’s Council also unanimously agreed to repeal all 27 legal normative resolutions previously issued by the former People’s Councils of Quảng Ngãi and Kon Tum provinces.
In addition, the Council discussed and approved the draft Resolution on policies and benefits for those working beyond the staffing quota at socio-political organizations assigned tasks by the Party and the State at the provincial and district levels, who ceased their work by July 1, 2025, following the implementation of the two-tier local government model in Quảng Ngãi Province.
In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council requested the Provincial People’s Committee to promptly direct and implement the adopted resolutions to ensure that the new policies are quickly put into practice.
He also emphasized the need to strengthen communication and dissemination efforts so that all levels of government, sectors, and the public unite in effective implementation.
He urged focused direction to address difficulties and obstacles in the organization and operation of the two-tier local government system, ensuring smooth, effective, and practical performance at the commune level.
The Chairman also called for balanced and comprehensive development among sectors, fields, and regions across the province, effective implementation of practical measures to promote agricultural and forestry development, focusing on key industrial crops in association with crop restructuring, science and technology application, and value chain enhancement to improve farmers’ incomes.
He further emphasized the importance of effectively implementing national target programs, and improving the material and spiritual well-being of people in remote, mountainous, ethnic minority, and island areas of the province.
