QUẢNG NGÃI, Vice Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee Trần Phước Hiền on Thursday chaired a meeting on the 2024 land inventory and progress in building Quảng Ngãi’s land database under a provincial plan issued earlier this month.
According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, 95 communes and wards have completed and submitted their land inventory data to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment.
The province is conducting a 90-day campaign to complete a standardized, clean and operational database, with over 647,000 records already verified.
Around 367,000 entries, however, remain unmatched with the national population database.
Hiền stressed that the land database is vital for modern land governance, faster administrative services and better support for citizens and businesses.
He urged agencies and localities to coordinate closely, assign dedicated staff, and ensure timely, high-quality completion of the project.
