Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyễn Hoàng Giang visits and works with the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany
BERLIN — A delegation from Quảng Ngãi Province, led by Nguyễn Hoàng Giang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, paid a working visit to the Embassy of Việt Nam in Germany on July 14 as part of its official trip to the Federal Republic of Germany.
The delegation was received by Ambassador Nguyễn Đắc Thành, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Việt Nam to Germany.
Expressing appreciation for the Embassy's warm reception, Chairman Giang highlighted its important role in strengthening Việt Nam–Germany relations, connecting Vietnamese localities and businesses with German partners, supporting the Vietnamese community, and promoting Việt Nam's image in Germany.
Introducing Quảng Ngãi's socio-economic potential and competitive advantages, the provincial leader called for the Embassy's continued support in promoting the province to German investors and fostering partnerships in investment, trade, science and technology, and green transformation.
He proposed that the Embassy facilitate connections with German enterprises and corporations to attract investment to VSIP Quảng Ngãi and VSIP II, which the province aims to develop into high-tech industrial parks focusing on semiconductor manufacturing, integrated circuits and artificial intelligence (AI).

The Chairman also sought support in linking Quảng Ngãi with partners in innovation, digital transformation, and science and technology, as well as major logistics and port operators to maximise the strategic advantages of Dung Quất Deep-water Port and develop it into an international cargo transshipment hub.
In trade, Quảng Ngãi hopes to strengthen exports of its key products while importing advanced machinery and equipment to support economic restructuring.
The province also aims to expand market access in Germany for internationally certified specialty products, including cinnamon, Lý Sơn garlic, Ngọc Linh ginseng and organic agricultural products, with support from the Embassy in organising investment and trade promotion activities.

Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Nguyễn Đắc Thành described Quảng Ngãi as a province with significant strengths in industry, energy, eco-tourism and resort tourism, noting that these sectors provide substantial opportunities for future growth.
The Ambassador encouraged the province to accelerate technological innovation, prioritise investment from major international corporations while creating favourable conditions for small and micro-sized enterprises to thrive.
Reaffirming the Embassy's role as a bridge between Việt Nam and Germany, Ambassador Thành pledged continued efforts to connect Quảng Ngãi businesses with German partners, contributing to stronger bilateral economic and investment cooperation.
