On March 23, at Pham Van Dong Square, Quang Ngai province held the Olympic Running Day for Public Health 2025.
Attending the event were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation Dang Ngoc Huy; Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Hoang Tuan; representatives of leaders of departments, sectors, localities and more than 1,000 cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers of agencies and units; soldiers of the armed forces, youth union members, students and athletes in the province.
The event aimed to promote and raise public awareness of the important role of physical exercise in health and quality of life, while encouraging all classes of people to build a healthy lifestyle, contributing to strengthening the great national unity bloc.

Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Tien Dzung launched the Olympic Running Day for the Public Health in 2025.
He emphasized that this event is not only a sports festival but also an opportunity to improve the spirit of physical exercise, encouraging everyone to participate in physical activities to maintain health and fitness.
Right after the opening ceremony, more than 1,000 athletes from departments, sectors, organizations and people in the province participated in the 1,000m Olympic race.
