On March 18, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Phien inspected the implementation of the investment Project to support the development of precious medicinal herb growing areas (the Project) under the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas for the period 2021-2030 (phase 1 from 2021-2025) in Tra Phong commune, Tra Bong district.
Reported by Tra Bong Medicinal Herb Joint Stock Company, the Project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee in January 2025. The Company has cooperated with Tra Phong Cooperative and other units to implement the construction of medicinal herb growing areas and processing factories since the approval of the Project.
Through the inspection, Vice Chairman of the PPC Vo Phien said that the Project will help to create livelihoods and jobs for local people. He therefore urged the Tra Bong District People's Committee to direct related departments, units and communes in the project area to support businesses during the Project’s implementation.
At the same time, the PPC’s Vice Chairman requested the investor to focus on mobilizing and guiding people in the project area to participate in planting medicinal herbs and purchase products of local people according the signing agreement.
During the project’s implementation, Phien asked the investor to settle the emerging problems and difficulties, ensuring the set progress.
