On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Quang Ngai province (March 24, 1975 - 2025), on March 24, the Provincial People's Committee inaugurated the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center to welcome the 21st Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
The Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, invested by the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works, started construction in March 2022, with a total investment of 300 billion VND.
The 3-storey Conference and Exhibition building has a total floor area of 11,736m2, with a capacity of 1,000 seats and administrative and functional areas.
The outdoor exhibition fair area is more than 27,400 m2, with related infrastructure items.
The Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center is a place to organize conferences, important political, cultural, social, economic and commercial activities and large-scale outdoor fairs and exhibitions.
Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hoang Giang praised the investor for its good performance and acknowledged the coordination of the City People's Committee, departments and sectors with the investor in completing the project.
The PPC’s Chairman requested the Provincial Management Board for Investment and Construction of Civil and Industrial Works to proactively coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Provincial Cultural and Arts Center to manage and operate the project, ensuring the safe and effective operation of the project.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism directs the Provincial Center for Culture and Arts to develop an annual operational plan for using the Center and actively organize trade promotion activities, fairs and outdoor exhibitions to maximize the function and efficiency of the project, serving the economic - cultural - social development of the province.
