Strengthen and diversify public education and awareness campaigns to promote behavioral change in forest protection and responsible fire use;

Direct local authorities, forest owners, and ground-level forces to strictly fulfill their responsibilities, with a focus on prevention, rapid response, and tight control over fire use, especially in slash-and-burn agriculture and under dry weather conditions;

Review and update local fire prevention and response plans, particularly for high-risk areas, and ensure sufficient equipment, resources, and personnel are in place.

The Department of Agriculture and Environment has been tasked with overseeing province-wide forest fire forecasting and prevention. Key actions include:

Closely monitoring weather conditions and providing timely warnings for local authorities;

Advising the provincial government on forest management and organizing training and drills for firefighting personnel;

Directing the Forest Protection Department to enhance patrols, inspect fire safety in high-risk areas, and provide timely support and command during large-scale forest fires;

Military units stationed in the province are also required to review and improve coordination plans with local firefighting forces and be ready to deploy support when requested.

Quang Ngai Radio and Television Station will coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to continue raising public awareness through media coverage, legal education, and recognition of good practices and exemplary individuals or localities in forest fire prevention.
